A long, easy roll along the northern Costanera, where the Río de la Plata opens wide beside the path and planes drift in low over the water toward Aeroparque. You start at Ciudad Universitaria, slow past the sculptures of Parque de la Memoria, and follow the river north to the green shore of Parque de los Niños before turning back. Getting there
Buses stop at Ciudad Universitaria right by the start; there is no subte out here, so come by bus or ride in along the Costanera bike path.
The path is flat and easy, and busiest on weekend afternoons. Ride in daylight, keep right to leave room for others, and carry water since fountains are few. Loveliest on a calm weekday morning.
